Book One of The House Of Altimsah
‘We are the House of Altimsah. We came from nothing. We were as one with the sands of ancient Earth. Through the shedding of our blood and the sacrifices of our ancestors, we have earned the right to rule. We are creatures of manifest destiny.’
An Empire spanning most of the known galaxy. An Empire that has survived for over two thousand years. An Empire that is dying in the face of war and revolution. An Empire ruled by the House of Altimsah, corrupt and self-serving. A dynasty at war with itself.
A war has started, a war that may signal the final collapse of the House of Altimsah and the Galactic Empire. A war that should never have been possible. A war that defies all logic.
In the midst of this devastating and cataclysmic conflict, two people find themselves fighting a war within a war. A young woman, the Amari, heir to the Imperial throne, and Ziyad, a soldier in the Imperial forces, a man she places her fragile hope in.
The Amari is betrayed by the very people who vowed to protect her. But the real betrayal lies in her past, a dark secret, that, if made public, would finally bring down the House of Altimsah.
Book Two of The House Of Altimsah
"The sands of time hide far worse things than death."
'As she watched, the body seemed to almost shimmer. It was so brief that she wondered whether she’d simply imagined it, but then the eyes suddenly opened and fastened onto hers. She only held the gaze for the briefest moment, but the hatred and loathing was truly shocking.'
The House of Altimsah had survived its greatest threat, but only just. With the Galactic Empire teetering on the brink of collapse and anarchy, the Reyes Almaluk and her husband, the Tageyatan, seek to restore order and economic viability, while at the same time crushing opposition underfoot.
Jounieh, a planet situated on the very edge of the Ahlzalahm, a vast void at the heart of the galaxy, is on the verge of insurrection. Forces loyal to the House Aireyean are ready to strike against their loathed overlords. And, hidden amongst the disorder, is a mystery older than the Empire itself. A long-forgotten settlement, buried under the Maarab Plain for thousands of years, has another story to tell, one that is reaching from the distant past into the chaotic present.
Majedah, hated half-sister of the Reyes Almaluk, and Kashik, disgraced former friend of the Tageyatan, are thrown head-first into this cauldron of discontent and unrest. Neither of them is in any way prepared for the nightmare that awaits them, but the future of the human galaxy rests in their hands.
Book Three of The House Of Altimsah
‘Death is with you all, it walks behind you with every step you take.’
‘Our house has an opportunity to change history, to push ourselves up to where we were born to be.’ He paused for a moment, as if weighing his words. ‘We can seize the Imperial throne.’
Tensions remain high within the Galactic Empire. The defeat of the Elnass and the suppression of the Aireyean insurrection has done little to improve the state of the economy. And now the Altimsah find themselves on the backfoot in the war with the Meis’oih. The Reyes Almaluk is walking a thin line and that line suddenly becomes even thinner.
The Gangjey Hanjaram, 13th daughter of the Hwangjeu, absolute ruler of the Horanjey Jeguje, steals something that could give her father the ability to claim the Galactic Empire for himself. Ziyad and Antanios set off to bring her to justice, but their mission rapidly turns to disaster. A disaster that could spell the end for the entire Empire.
War, plague and deceit rage across the human-occupied galaxy, as the Empire begins to collapse in on itself. And, in the background, silently fomenting all the discontent and violence, stand the mysterious Innana. Is it too late to save the Empire, or can it rise again, like a phoenix from the ashes?
This is, ultimately, the story of two women. One wields absolute power, the other aspires to. Which one will reign supreme when the dust finally settles?
