In the aftermath, Neferu finds out the shocking truth about the ancient gods of Kemet and discovers that her long-dead husband, who she had restored to life and then lost into the Well Of Time, is alive in the past, but is due to die on 16th September 1982.
She must travel to the future, to face the false gods who have manipulated humanity for so long, before she can venture back in time, to save the man she spent 3,826 years searching for.

A year has passed since the devastating explosion that destroyed much of California and, unknown to all, introduced what would become known as Zvidsai-Charig Syndrome, the sub-atomic virus that would to the extinction of humanity. Now, Neferusobek’s forces have moved to prevent the future that they created from occurring. At the same time, a vaccine is being prepared that will save the human race.
But, the two remaining false gods are not ready to go gently into that good night. As Neferusobek tries to adjust to life as a mortal, Apep and Ammut prepare to wreak their vengeance.
A sceptical and completely unprepared Homeland Security agent is thrown into the mix, set up by Apep to infiltrate Neferusobek’s network of operatives and lead him to her, for one final, world-encircling, showdown.
