On a fateful summer’s morning in Milwaukee, Dr Bingbing Xuan, expert in causality, finds herself beginning a journey into the deepest, darkest depths of a world that, she comes to realise, is the most convoluted Möbius Strip imaginable.
Diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour, and also experiencing a unique and quite bizarre hallucination, she is forced to question everything about the world she lives in, even the man she works for.
Mankind has been enslaved for over twelve thousand years, and Bingbing finds herself locked in a battle between warring factions that will, ultimately, decide the fate of humanity.
